I didn't even notice what was going on the first two games but when I realized you could take multiple muffins I was able to win.

If the monkey is able to make 2 stacks of 3 you lose. So I go for 3/4 and then I win. And stuff like that I don't know there is a pattern. The monkey makes a lot of bad moves anyways.

if hea just eats one, and there are 2 stacks left, only go for half the other stack,

Your not, the point is to eat the last muffin if you win the monkey will be shocked or then his both eyes will be X shaped or the monkey pouts. If you loseit will laugh at you.

ok this game is simple. i won 5 times in a row with out sweat. heres how its done. the stacks will be reprewsented as such. [ x , x , x ]
where "x" is hypothetical number of muffins left.

ok round 1
[ 8 , 7 , 8] completely made up. you always go first. take 1 stack of entire muffins. stack doesnt matter, ill go for the one on the left

second round
[0 , 7 , 8] 2 scenarios, monkey takes whole stack, or monkey doesnt take whole stack. if monkey takes whole stack, proceed to 4th round. if money DOESNT take entire stack, then take all but one from the stack, or leave him with 2 muffins. or halve one stack, just so that by the

Okay I've gotten a pretty good understanding of the game and I swear the last one I just played was impossible to win. I don't know. There are several patterns I can just free lance it now and usually win.

I can predict the move the monkey will make sometimes in the beginning. He's trying to accomplish the same thing I'm trying to accomplish.

just having 2 final stacks and thats it....

If you just take an entire stack you automatically lose if the monkey makes the right move. You have to keep the stacks uneven but you just have to be able to tell whether or not the monkey will be able to force you into "zugzwang." I mean you have to make sure the monkey can't make two stacks even on his turn. I'm not sure how it works with three stacks yet.

Also I'm pretty sure the monkey gets harder. First round he is retarded. Later rounds I actually see him do things that think ahead several turns.

If the monkey makes all three stacks even on his turn then he loses but he won't unless he is being ridiculous.

Also avoid this configuration...

If it comes to you like that on your turn then you lose. Not sure about 4 3 2 and others though. Avoiding the 321 configuration seems somewhat complicated maybe even impossible sometimes I'm not sure. It's these simple patterns though that should eventually allow one to find the perfect strategy going back to the very first move, and hope the game is designed to where you are always able to win with the first turn.

Now I think this is impossible to win. Here are some of my move choices...

Anything else loses. I'm pretty sure this is impossible to win but someone else might find a way maybe I'm overlooking something, but I don't think so. This quite clearly seems to be a 100% lose from the get go. You can't make any two stacks even because he'll just take the last stack. On the other hand if you take enough muffins from one stack to maintain all stacks are uneven then he can quite easily get the "3 2 1" set up and then win.

So sometimes the game gives you an impossible scenario to win. Try it.

By the way I won because the monkey made a dumb move.

Yeah I learned it from chess. I'm not that good at chess though. My strengths lie in linear logic a lot more than spatial logic. With that said I suppose I can still play chess decently. I've studied it quite a bit but I haven't actually played it very much so I lack practice.

is actually a win if it comes to you that way on your turn! All you have to do is take 2 from the 3 stack and there is nothing the monkey can do to win. So this should help you win.

The more muffins there are stacked the more complicated it seems but eventually I'll find a winning formula and if I do I'll share it. I think I just beat one of the really hard versions of him. He seems to be omniscient at this point in the game if I make one mistake I lose.

Okay I can almost always win but it's kind of complicated to explain. You just have to avoid 5 4 3 if it is your turn. If it is 6 4 3 you have to take one from the 3 stack. I don't know there are a lot of things to know but your first move is the most important because there is only one right first move.
