i really do have to start posting some folk and viking stuff. i have tons of high quality files for that, too. i'm gonna start putting up most of the thyrfing and manegarm albums.

Manegarm's most recent album was fantastic. Do you like Wolfchant?

First band I see there is Woods of Infinity. I have a good feeling about this, I'll check out some stuff later.

As far as folk metal goes, don't go with cheesy lame folk stuff like Ensiferum and Alestorm. If you have anything in the light of Empyrium and/or Agalloch I'll be very happy.

Hey even though Ensiferum and Alestorm are cheesy, I still love them lol. But there is a clear difference between them and stuff like Manegarm, Wolfchant, Windir, etc

That's a good album, it's the one I have. I'm considering getting more by them, but I have limited space

I wouldn't go that far, but I mean, I saw the more melodic sound coming way before they really even said anything about the new album, because that's how they've been heading for a while now. So I guess I wasn't shocked by it, so I wasn't put off by it.

it's a good album i like "charlies girl" the title track and "She's my best friend" specifically. and "kicks"
