I don't listen to music for lyrics or any other bs, so I prefer neo-folk because I actually like what they're playing. |

Could not agree more.
I don't like Alexisonfire and never liked Dallas Green. Then he went solo and I heard "Save your Scissors" and was like, nOooo. He came to my city on tour and all my friends begged me to go with them but I stood my ground. Another friend suggested I listen to him when I was upset so I gave it a try. Lets just say I felt worse.
I can respect folk or whatever it's labelled as, I think Bob Dylan was a lyrical genius more so than Kayne West claims to be  but I'm not a huge fan of his voice either. |
