I think I'm kinda having a bad day so I kinda need to rant

People have been getting on my nerves lately (people in general not specific people)
As I look around at people near me
or read or watch shows about people around the world
I just don't understand how ignorant we've become

I am shocked at what goes on in the world most of the time
wars, lying, cheating, stealing, etc.
how "unhuman" humans really are
we have set standards for ourselves on false pretences
who decided how we should act?
how ignorant were these people?
these so called "ethics" that we people "good" people should have are lies in themselves
jealously, anger, hatred, etc.
these unethical ideas are things everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, feels
as of now our ethics are based on your ability to hide, ignore, or control these emotions

we see someone achieve something greater than we've achieved
we're supposed to congradulate them or praise them
its human nature to feel jealously or resentment toward them
even if it is the slightest bit you've still felt it
does that make you unethical? unmoral? a terrible person?
the answer is no because you've done nothing, you haven't acted
some people call this swallowing your pride or being noble
we praise those who praise and hate those who hate
we call hypocrisy unethical but our ethics are hypocritical

think about it
most things that we value in such high regards are lies
figments that we make in our mind to please ourselves
ideas that we've been told and accepted to feed our hunger for happiness
we're told we should act this way so we do
we're supposed to be happy while we do it we are
but we hate those you are happy defy our ethics
how hypocritical are our actions

I believe almost all aspects of human interaction (with the exception or love, but i'll get there)
friendships
we build them to make ourselves happy, these people make me happy at this time, i'll be "friends" with them
oh they've pissed me off i'm not friends with them anymore, or we got into a fight
kindness
i'll do something "nice" for you to make you happy
but this is in turn a way to make ourselves happy
the culture says be nice so we're nice so we fit in
boom happiness
plus there is the inscentive that they will do something for you

i could list other but you get the point

now we get to love
love is the only honest emotion that a human being will ever experience
simply because love is the only emotions that can make you truly happy
no one can tell you love this or love them and you actually truly will
love is something you have to discover yourself
an example is that no one can ever tell you what love feels like
even if they're madly in love with someone

this has been a very random rant
i know i didn't stay on topic and jumped around
but i'm thinking about a lot of thinks at the moment

but here is my point

When are we ever ourselves? when do we do what a human would naturally do?
how can we hold these things in such high regards when it is so obviously hypocritical and fake?
we want to believe what we've accepted is what is ethical and moral and right,
but we can't explore these ideals without being hypocritical ourselves.
what would you have done with your life if you were never influenced by someone?
never told what was wrong and right, never trying to hold yourself to unrealistic ethics and morals
that in the long run are unobtainable
are your "friends" really your "friends"? Are you truly a "kind" person? Do you really "love" or have you been led to believe what isn't real?
Our intelligence is our ignorance, our ability to learn our disability, our lives are our lies and our deaths are our truths
we are what we want and hope to be, never what we truly are...................

damn son that is heavy. i think i have had a similar moment. a ways back my "friends" (they still are my friends) treated me differently because i started looking different. i care not to get into specifics. maybe some other time. not on a school night. at anyrate. some of them made comments that really set me off. i found myself questioning wheather or not these were my true friends or not. it felt so mean that my friends could treat me this way

but now it is back to you.

I would tend to agree that society may appear to be corrupted because in many ways it is. But we need to be positive as best as we can. If we let the immortal citizens of our lives to get the upper hand then we will be in a deeper submission

we all gonna get this kind of **** in our lives.
especially when we get older and older the more we think society is stupid-er.

Just don't them at as a catalyst to start quarrels

Some people are amazingly brilliant. Others are amazingly uneducated, ignorant, and confused. And everything between. Personally I've always seen acts of greed as only reasonable. What bothers me is when harm is caused because a person/people did not know better. There are plenty of examples of people suffering simply due to ignorance/fallacious reasoning. I suppose one brief example would be the witch children in Africa. Those people are so uneducated that a few people who drive fancy cars around can cause them to abandon, torture, and reject their children. I'm sure there are more than a few people behind it but not many. It's all a business scheme. The people who are on the money side are well...getting what they want. It's unfortunate that these things occur but they will pursue what they wish to pursue.

That is up to enforcement, the rest is up to people learning how to think sensibly. I won't get into that bit. I just hope most of us can agree that the whole torturing/abusing/abandoning your children over witch fear mongering is crazy.

unfortunately the amazingly ignorant people outnumber the amazingly brilliant. i cant wait till we all become a caring society that thinks of others before ourselves

That will never happen in my life time, but it is something to wish for every christmas lol
